A HPLC method was developed for the determination of glucosamine in crab shells. The amount of glucosamine residue can be used to estimate the amount of chitin in analyzed material. Crab samples were hydrolysed with 6M HCl at 100 degrees C for 13 h and the released glucosamine was determined by HPLC using refractive index (RI) detection. Separations were performed using an ODS-2 column with an isocratic mobile phase consisting of 10% methanol, 90% hexanesulfonate, pH 2.1. Glucosamine identification was carried out not only on basis of retention time, but also with respect to mass spectra, which were acquired by HPLC-MS.  相似文献

The structure of a strip LiNbO3 waveguide clad with a planar LiNbOa waveguide is proposed to fabricate a long-period waveguide grating (LPWG). It is shown theoretically that an LPWG device based on such a special LiNbOa waveguide structure is of the merit of thermal stability. The methods for fabrication of planar waveguide, channel waveguide and grating are suggested and discussed. Detailed design consideration is exemplified based on a soft-proton-exchange planar waveguide clad Ti-diffused LiNbOa (Z-cut) strip waveguide.  相似文献

A comprehensive, complete theory suitable for a long period grating (LPG) on/in a planar or channel waveguide is described on the basis of coupled mode theory. The theory aims at key characteristic parameters with respect to the effect of the LPG, including resonance wavelength, transmission power of the guided mode in the waveguide, full-width at half-maximum (FWHM) of the power attenuation band in transmission spectrum of the guided mode, and coupling coefficient between a guided and a coupled mode. The type of the grating including relief and index modulation, different polarization state combinations of the guided mode and the resonant mode, and slanted grating structure are considered in this theory. The influences of the coupling between two guided modes and between a guided mode and a substrate mode are discussed. The role of cladding layer in a long period waveguide grating is demonstrated in particular. Finally, the expressions for the sensitivity of resonance wavelength as a function of external temperature, pressure and surrounding refractive index are derived.  相似文献

The variational method is proposed to analyze the influence of the fabrication parameters on the performance of buried K+–Na+ ion-exchanged Er3+–Yb3+ ions co-doped glass waveguide. The unknown parameters of the Hermite–Gaussian functions as the trial field distribution are determined based on the scalar variational principle. It is demonstrated that the results calculated in this paper agree with those measured in the experiment. The mode dimensions, the effective refractive index, and the overlap factor as the functions of the fabrication parameters are investigated. These results of the variational analysis are useful for the design and optimization of Er3+–Yb3+ ions co-doped waveguides.  相似文献

In this paper we study autoregressive processes of order 1 with values in a separable Banach space it B. Such ARB(1)-processes are defined by the recursion equation
where T : B → B is a bounded linear operator and m ∈ B. We analyze the asymptotic properties of the sample mean and of the sample covariance operator in case that the innovation process is weakly dependent. This extends earlier results of Bosq (2000, 2002), who studied ARB(1)-processes with independent and orthogonal observations. We have measured the transmission regeneration amplitude for carbon. The invariant amplitude [?(0) ? ?(0)]/P varies from 5.909 ± 0.066 mb at 4.5 GeV/c to 3.933 ± 0.152 mb at 9.5 GeV/c. The results agree with optical model calculations using measured kaon-nucleon total cross sections. The data also provide a value for the ω trajectory intercept αω(0) = 0.42 ± 0.04.  相似文献

Secondary-ion-mass spectrometry was applied to study Ti-concentration profiles in the depth direction and on the surface of near-stoichiometric (NS) Ti:LiNbO3 strip waveguides fabricated using vapour transport equilibration (VTE) and co-diffusion of Ti-metal strips. Results show that the profile of Ti concentration along the width direction on the waveguide surface can be well fitted by a sum of two error functions, while, in the depth direction, the Ti concentration follows either a complementary error function or a generalized Gaussian function. Surface Ti concentration, 1/e width and depth, mean diffusivities along the width and depth directions of the guide are, respectively, 1.04?×?1021?cm–3, 8.5?µm, 6.3?µm, 0.18 and 0.1?µm2/h. Two-dimensional refractive index profile in the NS waveguides is indirectly constructed by assuming linearity between Ti-induced index change and Ti concentration. The surface refractive index increments at 1545?nm, Δno and Δne , are evaluated to be 3.132?×?10–3 and 1.186?×?10–2, respectively. All of the above-mentioned diffusion and optical parameters are compared with the corresponding data of the common congruent Ti:LiNbO3 waveguide or NS waveguide fabricated starting from a NS substrate. The rationality of the assumed linear relationship between the index change and the Ti concentration is discussed. The results show that the assumed linearity remains controversial, and all expressions and data with regard to the refractive index are the approximate results and need to be verified by direct measurement on refractive index.  相似文献

Computer-simulation data on the radiation-induced processes in nanoscale ferromagnetic clusters exposed to charged and neutral particles are presented. An instability-zone radius that characterizes the material’s radiation stability is estimated for an atom knocked out from a lattice site. Temperature and thermoelastic effects in the clusters and their influence on the defect structure of the irradiated objects are considered.  相似文献

Efficient infrared emissions near the second telecommunication window in Ho3+-doped multicomponent heavy-metal gallate (MHG) glasses have been observed. The maximum stimulated emission cross-sections are calculated to be 2.94×10?21 and 2.08×10?21 cm2 for 1200 and 1390 nm emissions, respectively. Excitation spectra reveal that the 642 and 538 nm wavelengths are practical pumping conditions for 1.2 and 1.39 μm emissions, respectively. Gain cross-sections are evaluated and positive gain bands have been anticipated. The theoretical gain results indicate that the appealing infrared emissions near the second telecommunication window from Ho3+-doped MHG glasses with low maximum phonon energy of ~660 cm?1 make them attractive in developing ~1.2 μm and E-band (1360–1460 nm) optical amplifiers.  相似文献
